 В версии 3.04 перепутаны кнопки С и D у Death Knight.
Поясняю, когда хочешь дать команду "Death Coil (кольцо смерти)" то получаешь "Death and Decay (смерть и разложение)" и наоборот.
Просьба пофиксить баг! Даёшь версию 3.05!
А, да! Еще просьба, сделать так чтобы скелетонов можно было из дохлых пингвинов и свиней делать :))))

Как это? Только что проверил - C - Coil, D - Decay. Да и не могло оно перепутаться. Никак.
Как проверял? Может, не тот вар2 запустил?

Ну, это не ко мне, это к Blizzard. :-)
Это уже геймплей, а я геймлей не меняю, иначе это уже не вар2 будет...

 Народ, не игравший в оригинал, искренне не понимает того, кто не может толково спросить.. :-)

А всего-то делов.. см. выделенное цветом ниже.

В версии bne blizzard "заметил", что якобы "перепутал" иконки, и поменял их местами.
Сам был удивлён такой заменой(в bne до 2008 года не играл),
но забил, т.к. непринципиально - всё равно всё на клаве делается.


Заодно вся информация о bne и патче 2.02, ликбез в некотором роде:

New Features & Changes in Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition
1.Multi-player support for as many as 8 players via Battle.net, modem, network and direct link.
2.Unique User IDs and worldwide ranking system for challenge ladders on Battle.net.
3.Over 100 Blizzard signed and approved maps, newly built or redesigned and balanced for multi-player games.
4.Automatic map passing over Battle.net.
5.Improved game set-up, game options, dropping of players and inclusion of Battle.net chat.
6.Setting of game speed before the game starts that cannot be switched back and forth during game play.
7.Incorporation of a 3 pauses per player / per game rule.
8.Assigning and selection of Groups through # keys (Ctrl + # to assign, # to select).
9.Option of choosing "Random" as your starting race.
10.Ability to set latency tolerance within games.
11.Attack Move command will now function correctly.
12.Patrol command now sends units to the selected location rather than stopping after any contact.
13.Set maps and game parameters for Ladder Games on Battle.net.
14.Scroll Speed fixed on faster computers.
15.Town Hall/ Great Hall is required as the first Building in your Technology tree.
16.Ctrl+click or double-click will select closest 9 units of that type currently on the screen.
17.Pressing space bar centers the map on last 8 transmissions (sequential)
18.Current food supply displayed along with gold/oil/lumber
19.Maintained compatibility with the DOS version of Warcraft II via local area network or modem.
20.Added upper limit of 200 food supply for each player.
21.Mining out an oil-rig completely no longer returns a small amount of lumber and gold to the player.
22.Flying Machines, Goblin Zeppelins, Goblin Sappers, Dwarven Demolition Teams now have a patrol option.
23.Canceling foundries no longer steals all of the oil you spent to build it.
24.Allies towers and flying units will now reveal enemy submarine units.
25.Death Coil will no longer damage allies.
26.New Sounds have been added for Skeletons, Runes, Eye of Kilrogg, and for completed upgrades.
27.Death and Decay and Death Coil now have the proper icons.
28.First Town and Great Halls now build at the speed of a farm. All Town Halls built later will build at the normal longer speed.
29.You now have the ability to share vision with other players, enhancing allied play.
30.The Sound Options menu can now be brought up by hitting Ctrl+D.
31.Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition also offers the introduction of different multi-player game templates to offer further variations in gameplay.
These templates are:
1.Melee - This is the normal method of play. Normal strategy with the option to ally if you wish.
2.Free For All - Every man for himself. No allying option.
3.One on One - Just like it sounds, Two player, head to head action.
4.Top vs. Bottom - This game type goes with maps that are designed for team combat. It automatically allies players that are in the same starting area, so that instant cooperation can be achieved. This game type acts as "Use Map Settings" so you may design a Top versus Bottom super battle with preset Units.
5.Use Map Settings - For specially designed scenario maps that have preset units and resources.
6.Ladder - When you play games of this type, the outcome is automatically logged onto Battle.net and recorded for public ranking. These games can only be played on Blizzard-Approved Ladder Maps and you must accumulate ten wins in standard Battle.net games to be eligible for Ladder games.
7.Iron Man - Once you achieve a ladder ranking of 1200 or higher, you are eligible for the Iron Man Ladder, which is the elite style of play set for low resources and random map selection.



CHANGES IN VERSION 2.02

Improvements

- Eye of Kilrogg can now patrol.
- Fixed some Battle.net issues.
- Added support for Battle.net gateways.
- [PC Only]. The registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER is used rather than
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
- Battle.net Create Game Chatroom now lists resources and starting
location along with map size and game speed.

Major bug fixes

- Fixed a hack which would allow you to perform upgrades repeatedly,
bringing your units to normally unattainable levels.

Minor bug fixes

- Fixed a bug where sappers would sometimes walk up to the wall,
but not detonate.
- Fixed a bug which caused the menu screens to become unresponsive
to clicks if the computer had been left on for 24 days or more.
- If a player is #1 on both Ironman and Regular ladder, it now shows
Ironman stats, not the Regular stats.
- Map-passing now sets the mapТs creator code to W2Be (a Map
Editor file) instead of W2BN (a War2BNE file).
- Clicking on the portrait of an invisible unit not your own no
longer centers the map on that unit.
- Previously, if somebody else had allied with you, you could not
cast death coil on them even if you were not allied with them.
- [Mac only]. The application resource version no longer states
beta, and copyright notices corrected.


P.S.:

Очень не хватает типа игры "team melee" - было бы весьма интересно попробовать.

Несогласен с пунктом 15,
т.е. THF ещё можно понять, а вот "is required" это уже муть сильная.

Ненавижу пункт №16.
из-за него больше всего косяков у меня в играх происходит.
Если кто из программеров найдёт возможность отключить сию приблуду, буду весьма признателен.

 Спасибо, я наконец понял. Это раньше иконки были неправильные, а теперь с версии 2.02 стали правильные.
